How do I get an appointment at U-M CVC?
Many of our services require a referral from your doctor; talk to him or her about arranging one. If you’re interested in a first-time evaluation or diagnosis, you may contact us toll-free at 888-287-1082.
Will I have to wait a long time for an appointment?
If you are experiencing chest pain or other emergency symptoms you should always call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room.
Appointments for evaluations in our clinics can usually be made within 3 or 4 weeks. Additional testing or consultation may take longer.
Why should I care about how many procedures U-M CVC performs?
Many studies have shown that the more often a doctor or team performs a procedure or operation, the better their patients will do in the long run. In other words, experience counts. U-M CVC consistently ranks among the top cardiovascular hospitals in the country.
Why should I trust U-M CVC doctors more than the doctor I already have?
We will work with your doctor, not try to replace him or her. Ask your doctor if he or she thinks a visit or consultation with us may be beneficial.
