Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD)

Peripheral vascular disease (PVD) or peripheral vascular occlusive disease (PVOD) is another name for peripheral arterial disease (or peripheral artery disease), often called PAD. Peripheral vascular disease and peripheral vascular occlusive disease (PVOD)  are more generalized terms than PAD, also encompassing arteries outside the heart but including those in the neck and kidneys as well as the legs.
