Biography

Dr. David Bach has an active clinical cardiology practice. He has long-standing clinical and research interests in patients with heart valve disease, and has published widely and lectured nationally and internationally on topics related to the evaluation and management of patients with heart valve disease, developments in prosthetic heart valves, and the use and interpretation of echocardiography in patients with valve disease. He is a strong proponent of individualized decision-making, educating patients so that they can best participate in decisions regarding their care.

An avid distance runner, Dr. Bach also has a clinical interest in athlete’s heart and heart disease in athletes, and seeks to promote an active lifestyle in his patients and his colleagues. Dr. Bach has completed more than 35 marathons (PR 3:08:42) and ultramarathons in eight states and three countries.
