Cardiovascular Medicine at Domino's Farms Student Internship

 

Internship Overview

The program is located at Domino's Pizza World Headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI. Internships in cardiac rehabilitation (with stipend available) in the fall, winter, and summer semesters are offered. The internship program is designed to provide the student with clinical experience in a comprehensive preventive cardiology program. Services include cardiac rehabilitation, oxygen uptake stress testing, stress echocardiography, fitness evaluations/assessments, nutrition counseling, stress management counseling, and a new medical management program. Opportunities to observe nuclear testing, cardiac catherization, electrophysiology studies, heart transplant clinic, and various off-site cardiology clinics are also available. In addition to the clinical experiences, weekly intern educational classes are provided to prepare students for employment in clinical exercise physiology and the ACSM Exercise Specialist certification. The program is a full-time 16 week commitment.

Summer Semester: May through August
